紅紅鼻子的花栗鼠在森林裡漫遊著，邊玩耍邊尋找著她最愛的殼斗科植物，戴著蘑菇帽原因是某次遇到掠食者的威脅，靈機一動拔了身邊的毒蠅傘菇當作帽子往頭上一戴，藏身菇群中一動也不動擬態毒菇，就這樣最後成功避過了威脅～從此就把這頂帽子一直帶在身邊。如果你在山間林道遇見一朵在殼斗科植物旁的毒蠅傘菇，別打擾請輕輕地繞過唷，我想一定就是蘑菇栗鼠準沒錯！
奇妙的是同一片森林中，有頭熱愛蘑菇的小棕熊，靠著靈敏的嗅覺尋找著大大小小不同的蘑菇，通常會揹著大大的編織包包，手上拎著草編籃子在樹林裡穿梭探索邊走邊玩，對蘑菇如數家珍的他，當然會分辨哪些是可以食用那些是帶有毒性要避掉的蘑菇，正當他試著避開的一朵巨大鮮豔的毒蠅傘菇時，發現那朵毒蠅傘菇似乎微微的在顫抖，而旁邊散落的一地的青剛櫟果實。
『疑？風不搖樹不動的今天加上周遭沒有青剛櫟樹呀！』正當棕熊撿起最後一顆散落的果實時，一個氣急敗壞的尖叫聲嚇壞了棕熊，蘑菇栗鼠脫下帽子生氣的對棕熊說這是他費盡辛苦收集來的果實，指責棕熊是個貪心鬼連最後一顆也不放過，這是他們第一次相遇的故事。
後來的他們解開了誤會，說著說著聊起天來了，交換著彼此收集的成果分享著有趣的故事，莫名變成了好朋友，現在的他們會相約在雨後放晴的森林，因為剛好的雨打落果實，剛好的雨也讓蘑菇冒出頭來．有了好朋友的陪伴，原本就很好玩的森林又變得加倍有趣了，同樣有著志同道合好朋友的你，記得要好好珍惜這段友誼，如果不巧地剛好沒有這樣的朋友也別難過，留意身邊的尾小細節，你也會發現在身旁可能有朵正在發抖的小蘑菇等待著你喔！
The red-nosed chestnut squirrel wandered through the forest, playing and searching for her favourite shellfish plant. She wore a mushroom hat because she encountered with a predator in the past. On a whim, she plucked a mushroom from the ground and used it as a hat to hide in a group of mushrooms, perfectly mimicking the toxic fungi. This clever move allowed her to escape the threat.
From then on, she always kept that hat with her. If you encounter a mushroom next to a shellfish plant on a mountain path, don't disturb it. It's likely to be our Chestnut Squirrel in mushroom hat, for sure!
Strangely, in the same forest, there was a little brown bear who had a deep love for mushrooms. With his keen sense of smell, he searched for mushrooms of all sizes. He usually carried a large woven bag on his back and a grass-woven basket in his hand as he roamed through the woods, exploring and playing.
Being a mushroom expert, he could distinguish between edible and poisonous ones. Just as he tried to avoid a large, vibrant fly agaric mushroom, he noticed that it was slightly trembling. Nearby, there was a scattered pile of acorns.
"Weird? There's no wind today, and there are no oak trees around," thought the bear. Just as he picked up the last fallen acorn, a scream startled him. Chestnut Squirrel, who had taken off her hat, scolded the bear for greedily taking the fruits she had worked so hard to collect, including the last one. This was their first time to meet.
As they resolved the misunderstanding, they began to talk and exchange stories. They turned up to be great friends. Now, they meet in the forest on clear days after the rain when acrons have fallen and mushrooms start to emerge. With the companionship of a good friend, the forest, which was already fun, became even more interesting.
